Portable Gaming Revolution

It looks like Newgrounds has updated their PSP formatted portal with new content. Although mainly Flash comprised of Flash movies, it’s a great start.
It’s good to see a few sites start embracing the PSP’s ever expanding capabilities. Hopefully we’ll continue to see more Flash content for the PSP.

New screenshots of have been released for the sequel of Legend of Heroes. Legend of Heroes II: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch will feature will feature a revamped enemy AI that lets it run away from stronger opponents. It also features pets that you can take care of.

Gamers Reports has posted three screenshots of the recently confirmed Lumines 2.

As you can see, the game looks pretty much the same as the original which is by no means a bad thing. Lumines was beautiful in its simplicity and I hope that Lumines 2 does not change that.

Quite a bit of information regarding the first PSP title in The Getaway franchise hit today. The first bit is that SCEA announced today that the game will indeed be coming stateside later this year. This is good news for those who were looking at this game because it was originally only slated for Europe.

In an official Press Release at the Japanese Playstation website, Sony has announced that PSP firmware version 2.70 will be available tomorrow (April 25th) in Japan. There is no word on a release in the US at this time.
