PSP Ports Coming from All Consoles?

It’s no secret that PSP-specific titles haven’t been as frequently released as most gamers would like… it seems that what a lot of publishers are tending to do is re-vamp games, usually from the PS2, to play on the handheld system. Well… part of that is about to change… and not the part about us getting a whole whack more exclusive titles, either!
It turns out that we’re going to be getting titles that were originally released for GBA, DS, XBox, Wii and even PC. We should be seeing games like Asphalt Urban GT 2 (originally from DS), Painkiller: Hell Wars and Xyanide (both from XBox), Gish (from PC), and there’s even a Wii connection here with Alien Syndrome.
I mean, I guess it’s a good thing that there are going to be a bunch of games coming our way… but why all the ports?? Developers should be spending more time creating brand new games for the PSP instead of taking the cheap way out!
What are your thoughts on these ports?
