Where Art Thou PSP Music Games?

frequencyamplitudeguitar

Harmonix is the company behind such solid music games as Frequency, Amplitude and both of the Guitar Hero games. Apparently, the development team approached Sony, offering to create a sequel to Frenquency for our beloved little handheld but were, but some reason, turned down. Fair enough, Frequency and Amplitude weren’t huge mainstream hits… but come on, you just don’t turn down the company that created Guitar Hero!!

On top of their turning away of Harmonix, Sony also decided to pull the plug on another music game that was actually in the works. This one was being developed by LucasArts and was supposed to be released this coming March. The game was going to be called Traxion and was supposed to be pretty damn awesome! You’d have been able to import your own songs into the game and it purportedly would’ve given Harmonix a run for their money!

All I have to say about this is Why Sony, WHY??
