It may also be that the us.playstation site updated the file. I got mine from the site in this post http://www.pspfanboy.com/2006/10/26/loco-roco-halloween-demo/ it is from the European demo site so that may be it. The one from that link worked on my 2.8

Alpha make sure it is in this folder UCES00304. It should work perfectly. It did for me.

I have a 2.80 FW and the demo does not work… I checked on the psp update system and I could only get FW 2.81 for download, except the Loco Roco Image says the FW 2.82 is out… So wich is it, 2.81 or 2.82?????

The LocoRoco demo does work on 2.80. It is, for me at least, a lot harder than the original demo.
