1up has posted a preview of the upcoming Killzone: Liberation for the PSP.

Liberation has made the controversial choice to go from a First-Person Shooter to overhead, semi-old school perspective. Many fans are understandably leery about this decision, and the previewer does mention that it takes some getting accustomed to. However, after around 30 minutes things apparently worked pretty smoothly.

The game will feature both a single-player campaign and a multiplayer mode. However, they only got a chance to see deathmatch on the multiplayer side and were not informed of what other modes will be available.

Killzone: Liberation is due out in Q4 of this year. Hopefully the new style of gameplay will work out pretty well and we will let you know more information as it becomes available.
