Many applications write Flash&#039;s SWF file format, and some attempt to render parts of it too. I have tried for awhile to discover what Oregan&#039;s &quot;Flash support&quot; actually means, but have not found any public documentation on this subject. 

Rephrased, Oregan Networks did not have anything to do with Sony&#039;s announcement and their deployment of Adobe Flash Player with all PSP updates.

That aside, there&#039;s an important issue with Adobe Flash content on Sony PSP: the console has less available memory than do web browsers on full-sized computers. I don&#039;t think all existing webpages will render on the PSP as they will on your PC. I&#039;m trying right now to figure out the best way to handle public expectations on the types of WWW content that device will be able to really handle....
