A recent EB Games listing has sparked a large amount of speculation among the internet.
The listing shows two new SOCOM games with release dates later this year. The first one is SOCOM US Navy Seals Combined Assault for the PS2 and the second is SOCOM US Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2 for the PSP.
Both pages have had their individual pages removed since this morning however they still show up when searching for SOCOM.
Luckily, due to the vast magic that is the interweb, the original listings are available on many game sites:

SCEA has neither confirmed nor denied either game, but much like Nintendo, they usually give the standard “Sony does not speculate on rumors” corporate line. However, considering how popular this series is, it is hardly surprising to see sequels coming.

A) It was removed, because zipper has not confirmed it yet, ppl are waiting till e3, to see if zipper has a preview for it then…
B)its probly not on ps3, because zipper knows how expensive it will b, knowing they may not make much sales… but if ever a socom5, it would b on ps3….
