IGN reports that Columbia Pictures upcoming movie Open Season will be converted to a game courtesy of Ubisoft. The game will be released for “all available video game platforms” but specifics were not listed.
In Open Season, a bear named Boog (Martin Lawrence) and a deer named Elliot (Ashton Kutcher) end up gathering an army of woodland creatures to revolt against humans and hunting season.
The Videogame will sport both single and multiplayer modes. Both will allow players to use a number of woodland creatures such as Skunks, Rabbits and Squirrels in “pulling outrageous woodland pranks” to fight the humans.
Open Season: The Movie is scheduled for release September 29th, with Open Season: The Videogame due September 15th.
