No Keyboard for the PSP

IGN reports that Logic 3 has announced the cancellation of their highly anticipated PSP keyboard accessory. According to Logic 3, Sony was “unwilling to provide command protocols necessary for the keyboard to function”.

Sony has not yet made any comment about this, but speculation is that they intend to release their own first party keyboard. Only time will tell, but I for one am saddened as I was anticipating this device.

Sony wouldn’t provide protocols for their hardware? That’s surprising :)

Yeah they should of known Sony has to make one for (if ever) before anyone else can. if they (Sony) drop the Cell phone key pad thing and changed it with a standard key pad then it would be much more useful! See the rumor that they are going to has thing like a sonymail it seem more likely they will change the key pad first and maybe make a add on.

When I first found out that the PSP will have a keyboard added on, it was really surprising and I was excited since I would of used it alot. But after reading this, I really am not excited anymore, but hopefully we will see a keyboard out for the PSP soon because it would really come in use.
