Gamespot has revealed that publisher THQ is set to release a game based on the upcoming Pixar movie Cars. The game will be a story-based racing game and will be available on all platforms save for XBox 360. You will be able to play one of 10 playable characters in a free-roaming environment and will be able to play in more than 50 races. The film’s cast will reprise their roles as voices in the game.

There is no official word on the release date, but like many movie-based video games, it is likely the game will debut at the same time as the movie which is June 9th.
