PSP Killzone Not an FPS

PSX Extreme is reporting that Official Playstation Magazine UK has a 4 page spread about Killzone: Liberation, the upcoming PSP title in the Killzone series.

In the spread it is revealed that Killzone: Liberation will not be a First Person Shooter but it will instead have a camera style similar to Metal Gear Solid. Along with this new camera view, it is revealed that you will take on the role of Jan Templar who is attempting to liberate hostages from behind enemy lines. There will be a focus on stealth and keen use of the environment to avoid and take down your Helghast rivals, which also happen to come in several new forms. You’ll get a few new weapons to help you out, though, like a crossbow.

In addition to that, PSP Only has posted some screenshots so you can see what they mean (Thanks to ZephyrWest for the link).

I dugg Killzone on PS2 and I was blown away by the Killzone 2 trailer for the PS3. I personally cannot wait to see how this turns out.
