Game Info Wire reports that Take-Two and Tecmo announced a European publishing agreement for Tokobot, the quirky platforming game for the PSP.
Tokobot is a fantastic first title for the PSP from Tecmo,” said James Ellingford, International Managing Director of Take-Two Interactive Software. “We’re delighted to continue our work with Tecmo and are confident Tokobot will find favour with the PSP’s already impressive install base.”
Tokobot was released in North America on December 5th 2005 and was a surprisingly well done game. In Tokobot, you take on the role of Bolt, an Indiana Jones-equse style excavator who has unearthed the Tokobots. These technological marvels were buried thousands of years ago by the ancient race who created them and now that they have been found, the bad guys want them for their own evil plans. It is up to Bolt to stop them as well as uncover the history of the Tokobots. If you want to know more, we have Dasme’s review of Tokobot in PSP Podcast 35.
Look for Tokobot to be released in Europe in March 2006.
