20,000 Videos for PSP From Veoh

SAN DIEGO, Jan 18, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Veoh Networks, Inc. (www.veoh.com), the first Internet Television Peercasting Network, today announced that the majority of its catalog of more than 20,000 independent, user-published videos is now available for download and enjoyment on the Sony PSP computer entertainment system. Veoh automatically downloads videos of interest to a PSP owner’s device each time they connect it to their PC.
I have not yet downloaded this and browsed their library, and I will most likely wait a bit after this is released before completely checking it out. I do admit that I am pleased that more companies are heading in this direction and hope to see more of this in the future.

That is good to hear. What format are they downloaded in – h.264?
Mostly mp4 for the PSP, but some are in WMV or mpg.
Are the videos free?
For now yes but I don’t know it that will change in that future.
i downloaded it yesturday when i saw it on someones blog. u need psp media manager from sony if u want it to automatically update
Yey i downloaded it. it is pretty good but i have not put it to great use
WARNING: This service NO LONGER IS AVAILABLE at Veoh. The Veoh Beta TV software has NO IPOD/PSP INTERACTION FEATURE WHATSOEVER. It simply DOES NOT EXIST. Furthermore, Veoh have banned all searches for any word under four characters long in its help forums, rendering any help on the matter completely unavailable.
Again, VEOH has NO PSP LINK FUNCTION.
