Lion’s Gate Home Entertainment in association with Marvel Animated Features will be releasing Ultimate Avengers: The Movie on February 21, 2006. This is the first of a series of eight animated movies from the Marvel – Lions Gate Entertainment partnership.

The direct-to-DVD film is inspired by Marvel’s best-selling book, “The Ultimates”– the story of six very independent heroes (Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, etc) who, like it or not, must fight as one to save the world. Little do they know that their biggest threat will emerge from within their very own ranks.
