Lions Gate Home Entertainment have announced which movies from their catalog are next to be released for the UMD format.

Made stars Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughan as failing amateur boxers who are recruited by their mob-connected boss (Peter Falk) to make what should be an easy delivery but ambition gets the best of them with hillarious results.

Director Oliver Stone’s view of the 60′s rock group The Doors also doubles as a biography of the group’s late singer, Jim Morrison. The movie follows Morrison from his days as a film student in Los Angeles to his death in Paris in 1971, at the age of 27. Val Kilmer turns in an amazing performance and as a Doors fan, I was very happy with this film.

Godsend stars Robert DeNiro as a stem cell researcher who offers to bring a young couple’s dead son back to life through an illegal cloning and regeneration process.

All of these films are slated for a January 3rd, 2006 release in UMD format.
